Barton Hill Merino Stud was established in 1925 by Horace Dunn based on Koo-owie, and later, Collinsville and Moorundie Park bloodlines. Today the stud is run by Jo & David Gebhardt of ‘The Gap’, Burra and is focused on the breeding of Poll Merinos to suit today’s market, while retaining the size and constitution for which the Barton Hill sheep have become renown.
